On our day off we hopped off to the country side, at this time of the year and after so much rain it all looked so beautiful. Hills covered in flowers and Spring blossom out and then this beautiful rainbow appeared, we made it back home just before the next shower.

We created a mess in the studio yesterday, printing a new batch of doorstops, cushions and beautiful brown wrapping paper!

We have just managed to get some new totes in the shop featuring fun images created by the in house illustrator....there is the Sparkling Pop girls, girl and dads little man, with references of those good days gone by, both available in charcoal.

The way of the future

We forecast that automobiles of the future will become larger, longer and have more rocket like resemblance, until by 1962 we will no longer have the need for wheels!

Soon after seeing these designs finished from the drawing board, we couldn't wait to see them in print.

New silk screens were made and we have begun to sample the design in various hand mixed colours.

Check into 'F.B's store to see and feel the finished product.

Even with the slightly smaller studio we are still managing to get some new pieces out from there! We tried our hands at some calico library bags and linen/cotton tea towels this week....heres how they turned out.

And below are the fabulous 'King' and 'Queen' which have been popular prints, we love these in the bold red, perfect for drying off those dishes or perhaps like us you hang it on the wall. These ones even have a border already for framing if thats what you're after.

This morning we decided that it was time to get some more wrapping paper into the shop. So we have just stocked it up with a gorgeous brown, recycled paper printed with an Atomic print in a vibrant yellow! Sure to brighten any present.

Wintery days mean inside projects, this time it involved making up some new cards. Using old childrens books and a bit of elbow grease they came up a treat, pop in and grab a few. Remember how nice it is to receive 'real' mail?

Time to upgrade and get into this blogger world!

Guess your looking at this site and you already know something about the brand, which is great! We wanted to keep this blog and show you a slice of our world and what we create, when we're not working in our shop 6 days a week.

Holly Daze has been running for a good few years now and has been worked on full time and part time during those years. Whenever we feel like we just can't keep doing it we realise we wouldn't enjoy our days as much without that creative outlet too, so we pick up a tub of ink and get out some fabric and make a mess in the studio.

We hope you enjoy a little insight and feel free to show us what you do also!
